Obituary

Mr. Raleigh Adolph Dean, 60, of Madison, Florida, peacefully accepted the Master’s call on Thursday, April 16, 2026.


With heartfelt sympathy and humble submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of Mr. Dean. As family and friends reflect on his life and legacy, may they find comfort in the cherished memories he leaves behind.

Raleigh Dean was born December 3, 1965, to Careatha Williams and Jacob Dean in Madison, Florida. He was converted at an early age.


Raleigh was employed for the majority of his life as a truck driver until his retirement. He was married to his loving and devoted wife, Tameka Dean, for 15 years, sharing a total of 18 years together.


Raleigh enjoyed playing dominoes and Uno, as well as crabbing. He loved spending time with his family, and most of all, he loved driving trucks.


He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters, one son, and six grandchildren. Tiffany Dean (preceded in death), LaKhiry Henley (Marcus) of Tifton, GA, Qua’esha Davis of Madison, FL, Tolerance Straughter, Ah’Zeriah Simpo, Anilee Morris, Ry’Onna Robinson, Talaysia Straughter, Tolerance Straughter Jr., and Isabella Straughter.


He also leaves to cherish his memories his brother, Michael Johnson (Annie); sister-in-law, Connie Torrey (Nate) of North Carolina, Monique Wright of Milledgeville, GA, and Darlene Burch (Gavin) of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Williams and Danny Williams; close friends, Denny Arnold of Madison, FL, and Shaun Davis of Tallahassee, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
